I don't know what it is about recycling places that I love so much. It's raw material potential. 
SUCH a green nerd.
We don't have recycling containers at our apartment so we collect it in the storage unit and take it to two different places (because one takes paper and another doesn't). It's fun for me; thankfully the girlfriend is tolerant (and generally wonderful).

ok, sooo... i've been meaning to tell you about a little cool site earththreat.org (yes, i'm the one with the comments). i stumbled across it a little while ago when searching for stuff about pumice houses- something else cool i'm gonna send you an email about- which i learned about while in hawaii. kudos on the the recycling dedication! why not bring it up to your apartment manager? or start your own recycling center in your storage space for the neighbors! i can just see it. the next step is composting! then berkenstocks. and patchouli. it's a slippery slope.
