So after briefly perusing those two sites, I was instantly reminded of that artist we found years ago, Brian Andreas, storypeople.com. These ones are a bit more urban, and the first one has a sort of "helpless victim" bent. But they're all cut from the same off-beat, sentimental cloth. Unfortunately, this guy doesn't have a very good site to view his art, but I'm sure you'll recognize it. Thanks for the reminder.
